New Buffalo’s Favorite Harvest Party

Harvest Party at Mahan Family Wines

Each year something magical happens on the vineyard – spring buds turn to perfectly wine-ready grapes.

At Mahan Family Wines, we look forward to this time as we invite friends and family alike to come help us harvest the grapes by hand.

A process typically taking place during the month of September as the endless heat of the summer gives way to the cooler evenings brought about by the imminent change in seasons.

What is the Harvest Party?

Our annual Harvest Party is one of our favorite events of the year –  a dinner party on the vineyard inviting the Mahan Family Wines community to come together to “break bread,” drink and be merry on the same earth as where our grapes are grown.

We sit among the vines and friends, toasting to another beautiful summer in the midwest having come and gone, leaving us with the bounty of beautiful wines and new connections.

We drink and dance into the late evening as the moon and the stars overtake the reds, purples, oranges and blues painted by the iconic sunsets of Harbor Country, Michigan.
