OUR ORIGIN STORY.
When is the right time to dust off your biggest dreams? For us, it was at the time most people retire.
Mahan Family Wines began with a love of wine and a belief that some of life's best moments happen around a table.
What started with a few vines and a curiosity about winemaking became something considerably bigger: Granite Ridge Vineyard in Southwest Michigan, Mahan Speakeasy near Chicago and a growing family of people who have found their way to our wines.
We still approach each vintage much the way we began—with curiosity, patience and the belief that there is always something more to learn.
