Granite Ridge Vineyard is our family-owned estate in Southwest Michigan—the land we farm, the place where each vintage begins, and where some of the most memorable Mahan gatherings happen.
THE PLACE
Four Acres. One Very Particular Piece of Michigan.
Granite Ridge is our four-acre estate, with three acres under vine, shaped by the seasons and the influence of nearby Lake Michigan.
Here, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Grüner Veltliner and Viognier are tended by hand throughout the growing season. Every vintage begins with the same questions: What is the vineyard giving us this year? And what does the fruit want to become?
There are no shortcuts to finding out.
THE WINE
You Can Taste Where it Came From.
A bottle of wine begins long before it reaches the table.
It begins with winter pruning. Bud break. Long summer days. Watching the weather. Walking the rows. Waiting.
Then, eventually, harvest.
Granite Ridge gives our estate-grown wines their sense of place. Each vintage is a new expression of the land—and a source of pride in what was grown here.
THE LAND
More Than Vines Grow Here.
Rows of French lavender grow alongside the vineyard. Cypress and sweetgum shape the landscape. Bees find their way into the lavender each summer.
None of it is accidental.
We farm with an eye toward the health of the land—using sustainable practices and tending the vineyard with the understanding that what happens here eventually finds its way into the glass.

Granite Ridge isn't a traditional tasting room.
Throughout the year, we welcome Mahan Wine Club members and their guests for select vineyard experiences—walking the vines, tasting what's next and gathering around the table where the wine story begins.

THE TABLE
Once a Year, the Vineyard Becomes the Table.
Each year, Mahan Wine Club members and guests return to Granite Ridge for one of our most anticipated traditions—the Annual Vintage Release.
A long table among the vines. Dinner as daylight gives way to candlelight. Music. And first access to the newly bottled estate vintage.
The wine hasn't traveled far. Neither have we.
