PUBLIC EVENTS
FOUR SEASONS. FOUR REASONS TO GATHER.
Most evenings behind the Secret Door are now dedicated to private celebrations.
But a few times each year, we open the door, gather around the table and invite everyone in.
From winter behind the Secret Door to summer evenings underground and autumn's first wine of the vintage, our public events follow the seasons—and the wine.
See what's coming next.

MARDI GRAS BEHIND THE SECRET DOOR
For one winter evening, Mahan Speakeasy takes on a little French Quarter spirit.
Mahan Family Wines, a dinner inspired by New Orleans, piano, candlelight and an evening that provides a very good reason to disappear underground in February.
Laissez les bons temps rouler.

CONCERT IN THE PARK
Eventually, even we have to come out from underground.
Spring takes Mahan Family Wines outside for wine, music and friends at Bloomingdale's Concert in the Park.
Bring a blanket. Find your people. Pour a glass.
Sometimes the best table isn't a table at all.

WEDNESDAYS UNDERGROUND
Summer has its own rhythm behind the Secret Door.
On select Wednesday evenings, Mahan Speakeasy opens for Wednesdays Underground—an intentionally limited series of midweek evenings built around Mahan Family Wines, music and conversation.
No occasion required.
Just come downstairs.

BEAUJOLAIS NOUVEAU
Our annual celebration.
Each November.
The vintage has barely finished becoming wine.
That's exactly the point.
Each November, we gather at Mahan Speakeasy to celebrate Beaujolais Nouveau—a French tradition built around tasting the first wine of the new vintage.
Mahan Family Wines. A four-course dinner. Live piano. And one of our favorite reasons to gather around the table before the holidays begin.
Closer than Paris.
CELEBRATE BEAUJOLAIS NOUVEAU
Some Nights Are Meant To Be Yours.
Public evenings at Mahan Speakeasy are intentionally limited.
Increasingly, the nights behind the Secret Door belong to birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, bridal showers, corporate gatherings—and celebrations that don't necessarily need a name.
What are you celebrating next?
