Welcome to our family,

After traveling the world to seek out the best wines, the finest earth, and the most knowledgeable winemakers in the world, we decided it was time to make our own wine. What started as a hobby of ours, has turned into a passion to connect the midwest with a-list wine culture. After studying winemaking with UC Davis, the best winemaking school in the United States, we produced multiple award-winning wines. This led us to begin raising our own vines in 2016 in Harbor Country, Michigan, from which we took our first harvest in the fall of 2020. Our first vintage was absolutely extraordinary and even took home an award of its own.

Our wish with Mahan Family Wines is to share our love for winemaking with the world through great wines, curated events and wine travel, connecting kindred spirits through our mutual love and passion for wine.

We look forward to welcoming you to our spaces and sharing a bottle of wine (or two) and some belly laughs soon.
