You're invited to a one-of-a-kind evening hosted by Mahan Family Wines, crafted especially for Marché Wine Club members. Tucked inside the inviting charm of the Mahan Speakeasy, this intimate gathering promises delicious sips, curated bites, and the kind of stories that only a winemaker can tell.
Meet the Winemaker, Phil Mahan
While most folks dream of sunshine and tee times in retirement, Phil Mahan took a left turn straight into the vineyard. At 55, after a trip through Austria’s wine country, he ditched the dream of chasing golf balls in Florida and decided he’d rather chase flavor in a bottle.
So, in 2016, Phil and his wife Ann planted their first vines near home—and in 2020 (yes, that 2020), they opened Mahan Family Wines, proving that passion waits for no perfect timing. Today, as a proud first-generation vigneron, Phil is growing and crafting award-winning wines that are as full of heart as they are flavor.

Reserved seating from 6 to 10PM
A guided tasting of six 1-ounce pours, each perfectly paired with selections from a Marché charcuterie board
Your choice of two full glasses from our curated wine list
Our rotating list of Midwestern wines highlights the best of the season — from elegant whites like Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, and Grüner Veltliner, to vibrant Rosé, silky Merlot, and bold Cabernet Sauvignon.
